What we learned from our first hundred events

A hundred nights of registrations, doors and settlements, and the handful of habits that separated the smooth ones from the rest.

The pattern was not budget or size. The events that ran calmly were the ones where the same list carried through from sign-up to door to payout.

Where those three lived in different places, every handover became a reconciliation, and reconciliation at eleven at night is how mistakes get made.

So the roadmap is boring on purpose: one record per attendee, visible to everyone who needs it, from the first form to the last payment.
